From July 1, 2015 the ECCB will cease to issue 1 cent and 2 cent coins and will start the process of withdrawing these coins from circulation. To facilitate the process, members of the public can redeem these coins at NCCU.

 A Rounding System has been devised by the ECCB and will be implemented to regulate cash transactions ONLY; transactions involving cheques and debit cards will NOT be affected.
