Today, October 19, 2017, is International Credit Union Day

October 19 is International Credit Union Day, when credit unions remind their members that they can achieve their biggest goals in life with the theme "Dreams Thrive Here."

CUNA and the World Council of Credit Unions announced the theme for the 2017 event.

“Credit unions improve the financial lives of their members every day of the year,” said CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle. “International Credit Union Day is an opportunity to celebrate the credit union difference with our members and remind the world that credit unions are the best financial choice for consumers.”

The ultimate goal is to raise awareness about the great work that credit unions are doing around the world and give members the opportunity to get more engaged.
