TECHNICIAN – HEAD OFFICE, NCCU LTD
The
National Co-operative Credit Union (NCCU) Ltd invites applications to fill the
vacant positions of Network Technicians, Head Office,
The
Network Technician:
(a) Assists
with operations, troubleshooting,
monitoring and maintenance of the hardware of the National Co-operative Credit
Union (NCCU) Ltd’s information systems
(b) The
delivery of information technology services for the NCCU Ltd and other networks
monitored
and maintained by the NCCU Ltd
(A) QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
a)
Associate
degree Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
b)
Appropriate
professional qualification in Hardware Maintenance, Programming, Information or
Computer Science
c)
Five (5)
CSEC passes at general, with grades 1, 2 or 3 which includes Mathematics
& English.
d)
Working
Knowledge of operations of Information Technology Systems and in particular,
micro-computer based systems
e)
Minimum
of two (2) years practical experience in a computer related field.
f)
A+
or Network Certification or Certificate in Information and Computer Science
g)
Other
relevant qualification
h)
At
least four (4) years working experience in a financial institution or a Credit
Union would be an asset.

Excellent
communication skills, both oral and written
(ii)
Demonstrated
ability to work well with others
(iii) Excellent
interpersonal skills
(iv) Experience
in planning, organizing and coordinating programmes
(v) Ability
