Dominica will join the rest of the world in observing International Cooperative Day on July 6, 2019. The theme for this year's celebration is 'Coops for Decent Work'. The aim of this celebration is to increase awareness of the cooperatives and to underscore the contribution of the cooperative movement in helping to resolve some of the major problems being addressed by the United Nations. 

The activities to observe Cooperative Day commenced on June 30th with a grand church service which was held at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.

All are invited to participate in the list of activities planned from June 30th to July 6th.
