Vieille Case Branch Organises Football Festival
An exciting football festival was organised by the NCCU Vieille Case Branch Sports Academy on Sunday
30th June at the Thibaud Playing field.
In Game 1,Thibaud
Nemisses United earned bragging rights by outplaying the Penville boys by six
goals to one. The Thibaud girls were no match for the Thibaud young boys in
Game 2 scoring only one goal to the boys six.
The Academy expresses special thanks to all those who
participated especially the team from Penville. They came to play without an invitation and
were the first team to arrive in
Thibaud. Special mention is made of the
villagers who came out in large numbers to support the teams. The hard working organizing Committee comprised members, John Bruney, Theodore Remy, the Nelson family and Frances Royer.
