At the Annual Scholarship Presentation Ceremony held at the Prevost Cinemall on August 8, 2014, twelve (12) students received scholarships from the National Co-operative Credit Union (NCCU) Ltd to attend secondary school.  

These students, who are all children of NCCU members, will hold their scholarship for a five (5) year period. An NCCU scholarship covers stationary, tuition and examination expenses and the scholars also receive uniform and transportation allowances.

Mr Michael Augustine, President of the Board of Directors, stated at the ceremony that the offering of these scholarships is in line with two of the seven co-operative principles and the NCCU strongly believes in the literacy of our young leaders. The National Co-operative Credit Union Ltd is pleased to welcome the students to our one big family and wishes them success in their educational endeavors!
