After a heavily contested audition lasting some 6 hours, the five Judges found it difficult to select only 10 finalists. As a result,12 artistes were selected to showcase their songs at the 2017 Cadence Lypso Show carded for the Pottersville Savannah on November 2nd, 2017.
The following are the artistes who got the nod from the judges at the in-house audition held at the NCCU LTD on July 15, 2017.

They will all compete in the 6th Edition of the Cadence Lypso Show and will be looking to dethrone the three-time Cadence Lypso King, Anton "White Fayrie" Joseph.
